Plan Your Cruise to the Boston Harbor Islands
Boston Islands Charters can take your group on your own schedule to the islands that are listed on the Islands page that are not serviced by public transportation. Or you can visit more than one of those that are accessible by public transportation. You can even go camping overnight or for the weekend. Captain John will transport your group and your gear for an unforgettable experience.
- Salt Marsh Guided Tours journey up the Back River in Weymouth. Have lunch in Bare Cove or Webb State park. See osprey and many marine birds and learn about the significance of the salt marsh to the marine ecosystem. This trip is tidal dependent.
- Arrange a Sunset Harbor Cruise. You and your group can view the Harbor Islands from the comfort of the boat or you can stop on an island and have an evening soiree. Calf Island, with the remains of a mansion terrace 50 feet directly above the shoreline is a particularly dramatic place to watch the sun set.
- Enjoy angling on a Fishing Charter. Captain John can take you fishing for cod, bluefish, stripers and flounder. Half day and full day charters available.
- Catered Lobster Meals, freshly caught by Captain John, are available on all islands. The meal includes potato salad, coleslaw, watermelon, and soft drinks for a dining experience you will never forget.
The above trips are just a few examples of the island adventures available through Boston Islands Charters.
